Oshkosh Pride, Inc. believes that just one supportive person or space can change a life, and we’re committed to being both. Oshkosh Pride, Inc was born from a deep need for safe spaces, representation, and mental health support for the LGBTQ2SIA+ community in our area.

Oshkosh Pride started in 2018 with a small free cookout in Oshkosh for the local LGBTQIA2S+ community. After a few years of inactivity, Oshkosh Pride was rekindled into a thriving organization when the Hope Fridge mutual aid team partnered with Oshkosh Pride in 2021.

Since then, Oshkosh Pride has been hosting annual events and growing as an advocacy organization. Oshkosh Pride branched off from Hope Fridge and became our own 501(c)(3) non-profit in 2024.

Oshkosh Pride is dedicated to increasing visibility and building an affirming community at every intersection of queer identity. Through monthly gatherings, advocacy, and connection to local resources, we are building and strengthening community while working to improve the mental health outcomes of LGBTQ2SIA+ folks of all ages.
